Title: Bartender - Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests
Accurately mix and serve a variety of drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages in compliance with company standards
Utilize high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs, and spices to craft exceptional drinks
Provide information and suggestions on wines and serve using proper techniques
Collaborate with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes
Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases
Handle cash transactions, maintain assigned cash bank, and balance receipts
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully equipped bar area
Serve food items to guests seated at the bar
Attend mandatory meetings and perform general cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards
Organize catering storage areas and complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of bartending experience with extensive knowledge of drink recipes and wines
Ability to create unique and timely beverages
Maintain excellent personal hygiene and professional appearance
Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to exceed guest expectations with a personable and friendly demeanor
Ability to handle and transport up to 50 lbs continuously
Reliable email access for communication with management
