Position Overview: The Banquet Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role involves verifying age requirements, understanding drink recipes, processing payments, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.

Essential Job Functions:

Prepare the bar with necessary supplies (fruit, garnishes, glassware, etc.) before opening.
Display products correctly to enhance sales.
Accurately receive and prepare drink orders using standard recipes and pours.
Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide correct change.
Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, enhancing guest relations.
Inform guests about daily specials and menu items.
Assist servers with food and beverage service when needed.
Perform quality checks to ensure guest satisfaction.
Clean and sanitize bar and dining areas; clear and reset tables.
Secure inventory and close down the bar properly.
Attend pre-shift meetings as required.
Follow all company policies and legal requirements regarding alcohol service.

Legislation & Company Policy:

Obtain TIP certification within three months of hire.
Verify the legal drinking age of guests and refuse service politely when required.
Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and take appropriate action.
Support company policies relevant to your role.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Strong customer service and time management skills.
Reliable transportation.
Attention to detail.
