Position: Bartender

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender to provide friendly, responsive, and consistent service, creating a beyond-expectation food and beverage experience for all guests.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
State or local law may require alcohol awareness/safety and food handling certifications.
Prior experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue is required.
At least 2 years of front-of-house operations experience is preferred.
Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all guests feel welcome and receive friendly, courteous, and timely service.
Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, common drink recipes, and preparation methods.
Assist fellow associates as needed (bartenders, servers, barbacks, bussers, hosts/hostesses, management).
Regularly lift and balance trays and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; standing for extended periods up to 8 hours may be required.
