Job Description
Title: Bartender
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Elk Ridge Golf Course offers a challenging and scenic links-style golf experience with beautiful hills and forestation, overlooking the Columbia Gorge. We are seeking a skilled bartender for our clubhouse restaurant who will provide excellent guest service and create both classic and innovative drinks that meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to standards
- Verify customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain an excellent guest experience with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Manage accurate cash drawer and perform nightly alcohol inventory
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proven bartending experience preferred
- Weekend availability preferred due to peak busy times
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications as required
