Job Title: Bartender
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Interact with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Proven experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent physical coordination and manual dexterity
- High energy level, stamina, and ability to handle pressure
- Dependable, reliable, and a team player
- Personal cleanliness
- Able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Good sense of balance
- Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, kneel, and bend
- Stamina to stand and move quickly for several hours at a time
