Position Summary: The Radisson Hotel La Crosse is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and service-driven Bartender to prepare beverages for our guests promptly and courteously while maintaining high quality and consistency.

Shift: Full Time | 30-40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar, promote house drinks, and utilize up-selling skills to maximize revenue
Prepare beverages following established standards and recipes to ensure consistency and control costs
Comply with all laws and guidelines regarding beverage service
Check guests for proper identification, manage payment methods, and serve alcohol according to state, federal, and corporate regulations

Requirements:

Minimum one year of bartending experience in a restaurant, preferably in an upscale, high-volume environment
Must meet minimum legal age to serve alcohol
Formal bartending training preferred
Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, preparation methods, and garnishments
Familiarity with local, state, and federal liquor laws and regulations
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform basic math and handle cash
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Lift, carry, or exert force up to 75 lbs
Use manual dexterity for office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones
