POSITION SUMMARY Bartenders play a key role in turning guests into loyal fans by providing friendly service and guiding them through our food and beverage offerings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of the menu, explain options, and inform guests of promotions, Happy Hour specials, and upcoming events.
- Prepare all drinks according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
- Process orders, ring up food and drinks, and coordinate timely delivery.
- Follow up to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, practice pre-bussing, and remove clutter.
- Follow alcohol awareness policies, including age verification and managing intoxicated patrons.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and according to company procedures.
- Keep bar inventory aligned with POS system totals and maintain proper stock.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
- Complete opening, shift change, and closing checklists as well as regular cleaning tasks.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and write English.
- Good communication skills, friendly and people-oriented.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask.
- Basic math skills.
- Completion and passing of RAMP and/or TIPS certification as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to stand 100% of the shift with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent immersion of hands in water.
