Job Description
Title: Barback - Lodge
Summary: Responsible for performing basic prep work behind the bar.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock bars with liquor, beer, fruit, mixes, straws, napkins, ice, cleaning products, and other necessary supplies for daily operations.
- Assist bartenders during their breaks.
- Keep accurate records of all inventory transfers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Reporting Line: You will report directly to the Manager of Food & Beverage Operations and then to the Director of Food & Beverage.
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and maintain a neat appearance at all times.
- Ability to use bar equipment, POS systems, and cash registers.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work all shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
Educational and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and be able to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment: Work will be performed in a noisy, smoke or secondary smoke environment, and exposed to seasonal weather elements.
Additional Requirement: Availability for morning and afternoon shifts is needed.
