Summary: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for opening and closing the hotel Kitchen+Bar following Company policies and procedures. The bartender maintains a clean, organized food prep and bar area while serving and assisting guests. This role requires presenting high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture with customers and team members. General knowledge of the hotel, local area, and events is necessary to answer guest questions.

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older
Minimum one year bartending experience; two or more years preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications
Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication
Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
Capable of performing duties as bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other roles as needed
Competence in handling money, making change, and using office equipment
Ability to operate cash registers, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
Excellent customer service skills, including effective communication and professionalism in difficult situations
Ability to open and close the bar, obtain supplies, and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
Ability to recognize currency denominations and make appropriate change
