About the Position:

The Part-Time Bartender provides quick and efficient beverage service to hotel guests and servers with comprehensive knowledge of all bar products.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
Build rapport with guests through exceptional service.
Confirm guest orders, including special requests, using the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
Verify completed orders against original requests.
Take orders and serve guests seated at the bar, providing vivid and interesting descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation.
Maintain thorough knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks.

Skills and Qualifications:

2-3 years of serving experience in an upscale establishment with strong wine, beer, and spirit knowledge.
Ability to obtain any required food handling and alcohol serving certifications.
Hotel or resort experience preferred.
Capable of standing for entire shifts and communicating effectively with guests.
Positive, above-and-beyond attitude.
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
