Title: Bartender

Job Summary: Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the bar and patrons. Interact with customers by taking orders, checking IDs, and serving food and drinks. Assess customers' needs and preferences to make appropriate recommendations. Utilize Barbacks to ensure efficient bar operations.

Responsibilities:

Craft and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, and specialty drinks following established recipes and presentation standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, flavors, and pairing suggestions. Stay current with industry trends and draft beer selections.
Efficiently take and process drink orders using the POS system, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests.
Present drinks attractively with proper garnishes and glassware.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, glassware, and workstations, complying with health and safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, provide change, and follow company policies on cash handling.
Collaborate with team members including servers, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and liquor law regulations to ensure responsible alcohol service.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Food Handlers Certification.
Alcohol Service License or certification.
Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and mixology techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to learn POS software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, or Paylocity.
Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift at least 15 pounds, and complete orders quickly and accurately.
