Job Description
Position Title: Bartender
Pay Rate: $19.18 per hour
We are seeking a professional Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role requires adherence to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up assigned bars and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests courteously and take/process drink orders.
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
- Check guests for proper identification and detect intoxication, taking appropriate actions as trained.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, and secure deposits.
- Lock up and store all beverage products, food, equipment, and cash securely.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards and keep the work area organized.
- Arrange bottles and glasses attractively and wash/sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to detect guest inebriation and verify proper identification according to laws.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Follow standard ingredient recipes.
