Responsibilities:

Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
Set up the bar according to hotel standards, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel's mixing and presentation guidelines.
Serve guests courteously, addressing all beverage requirements.
Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment properly.
Comply with all state liquor laws and hotel policies.
Keep the bar and service areas clean and tidy during service.
Respond promptly to guest problems, complaints, and accidents.
Follow procedures to serve liquor responsibly, managing intoxicated guests carefully.
Be knowledgeable about hotel services, fire exit locations, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; experience in hotel or related field preferred.
Ability to stand throughout the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with guests and staff.
Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Maintain professional appearance, including proper uniform and nametag.
Adhere to Highgate Hotel standards, policies, and safety regulations.
Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and cross-train in other hotel areas.
Flexible availability, including potential long hours.
