Title: Bartender - OC

The Bartender is responsible for taking guest drink orders and preparing beverages according to Thunder Valley Casino Resort specifications and standards. This role requires adherence to Company policies and delivering exceptional service based on AAA Four Diamond standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent guest service by practicing and promoting Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s "ELITE" service mission.
Take accurate drink orders, describe preparation methods and prices, and offer specials.
Recommend and upsell drinks when appropriate.
Prepare drinks following proper specifications and quality standards.
Record all transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Verify guest age to ensure legal drinking age and prevent over-serving per Company guidelines.
Maintain beverage stations stocked with fresh products and rotate inventory as needed.
Cut and stock fresh condiments and ensure sufficient glassware is available.
Complete assigned side work duties.
Monitor and report any malfunctions in equipment such as glass washers, ice machines, blenders, liquor dispensing systems, POS, and coolers.
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to obtain a UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge and skills.

Physical Requirements:

Normal or corrected vision with the ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols.
Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Manual dexterity to operate related equipment.
Ability to communicate via two-way radio.
