BASE PAY: $16.90 - $19.50

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Operations Location: Theater Reports To: General Manager

Job Duties:

Greet guests at all bar areas promptly with a smile and warm hospitality.
Rapidly and accurately take food and beverage orders, using selling techniques to maximize sales.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations about bar and menu items to create a unique guest experience.
Check patrons' identification to ensure they meet minimum legal drinking age (21 years).
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness of glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables.
Implement alcohol service and safety protocols, including preventing over-service and ensuring alcohol is consumed in designated areas.
Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar and update the Bar Supervisor on inventory.
Wash and sanitize all stemware.
Process payments accurately and promptly to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Address guest complaints and requests or direct them to proper resources when necessary.
Complete all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures, including side work.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Must be 18 years or older.
Minimum of 1 year bartending experience with a full bar.
ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications required.
Ability to operate Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.
Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with employees, guests, and management.
Organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations effectively.
Flexible availability including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Employees must be able to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, use hands and arms for handling, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds (with occasional assistance for heavier lifts up to 50 pounds). Work is performed in a theater environment with typical noise and activity levels.
