Job Summary: To succeed as a bartender, you must be customer service-oriented and able to work well under pressure. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is important, but most importantly, you should love great food and drinks, enjoy helping your team, and keeping customers happy. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity to start your restaurant career.
Responsibilities:
- Serve guests in a friendly manner and attend to individual needs
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly following standard recipes
- Handle billing, accept payments, and make correct change
- Verify guests’ legal drinking age by checking identification
- Stock the bar with liquor, beer, and wine
- Clean glassware and maintain appropriate glass inventory
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a bartender and server
- Passion for hospitality toward guests and coworkers
- Ability to work with little supervision under varying conditions
- Flexibility to work varied hours including some holidays
