Title: Bartender (Part Time)

We are hiring immediately for part-time Bartender positions.

Location: Huntington Library - 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA 91108. Note: online applications only.

Schedule: Part time; Friday through Sunday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $16.90 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirement: Previous bartending experience is required. Candidates must have knowledge of liquor laws and be able to detect guest inebriation.

Job Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, glassware, ice, garnishes, and condiments.
Maintain stock quality including preparation and storage of fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, and juices.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes.
Check guest identification for proper age verification.
Detect and manage guest intoxication as trained.
Handle cash transactions accurately; record charges and manage vouchers.
Secure all beverage products, food, equipment, and cash deposits.
Perform cleaning duties to maintain health and safety standards.
Arrange bottle and glass displays attractively.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
