Title: Bartender
Location: San Vicente Santa Monica - Santa Monica, CA 90401 Salary: $20.22 per hour

Position Purpose: The bartender prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests promptly while delivering high-quality personalized service.
Responsibilities:
- Set up mise en place for featured cocktails
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked and notify management when supplies run low
- Greet guests promptly as they are seated at the bar
- Clear bar area after guests leave and properly place tableware for washing
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests
- Coordinate with servers, hosts, and Maitre’ D to ensure efficient seating and service
- Thank guests as they leave
- Maintain personal cleanliness and an immaculate uniform
- Assist team members as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum three years experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel
- Current Serve Safe Food Handler Card and ABC card required
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Physical ability to carry or push beverage trays (up to 40 lbs) and stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
