Job Description
The Club at Crested Butte is excited to announce a seasonal full-time Bartender position. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and focus on providing superior service to our members and their guests.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock the bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- Assist in cost control, inventory management, and maintain inventory records.
- Monitor food and beverage supplies and communicate with management when restocking is needed.
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and management’s operating procedures.
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
- Perform opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
- Manage cash transactions and utilize the Point of Sales system.
- Review banquet schedules, calendar of events, and serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
- Occasionally serve meals to guests.
- Follow safe work practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of bartending experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state alcohol service laws.
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
- Alcohol Awareness Training.
