Event Bartender

Location: Fort Collins, CO 80524 Salary Range: $16.00 - $40.00 Hourly

Job Overview As an Event Bartender, you will represent our commitment to exceptional service and cuisine. You will engage warmly with guests, providing superior service and memorable experiences to encourage repeat and referral business at our restaurants, bars, and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide attentive and friendly beverage service at events and bartop
Set up custom bar selections for events at various locations
Prepare cocktails accurately and efficiently, engaging with guests
Demonstrate knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails
Take beverage orders from customers and event staff
Mix drinks according to recipes, serve wine and draft or bottled beer
Collect payment and operate POS system, balance cash till
Restock bar to required levels before and after shifts
Clean and arrange bottles and glasses attractively
Prepare garnishes by slicing and pitting fruit
Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption responsibly
Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
Assist event staff with setup, cleanup, side work, and order taking
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Schedule This position requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Work hours may vary significantly by week and season.

Safety Responsibilities

Ensure safety of self, team members, and guests at all times
Report incidents or hazardous situations promptly to supervisors
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Operate equipment safely to prevent injury

Qualifications

Minimum age 21 years
At least 2 years of extensive bartending experience in high-volume environments
Demonstrated skills in mixology, wine, and beer
Ability to work independently and maintain a hospitality-focused, calm, and warm demeanor under pressure
TIPS and Serve Safe certifications (training and certification provided if not current)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling
Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
