Job Description Position Summary The Bartender mixes and serves beverages in a timely and friendly manner, oversees the security of liquor, checks, and cash, and participates in the physical setup and breakdown of the bar. The Bartender provides exceptional guest service and reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities

Recommend drinks to complement food items
Know menu item origins, preparations, and ingredients
Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
Complete beverage and supply requisitions
Ensure guest satisfaction and communicate feedback to management
Monitor guests for over intoxication and report to management
Assist in emergency and security procedures
Reset and clean indoor/outdoor bar areas
Assist team members with organizing kitchen items and F&B deliveries
Complete tasks assigned by the manager and assist other departments as needed
Enforce all Food and Beverage policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be over 18 years old
TIPS trained
Six months to one year of related experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficient knowledge of wines by the glass and state liquor laws
Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail creation preferred
Knowledge of cash and credit card payment processing
Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and activities
Mixology skills
Ability to set up, maintain, and break down bar area
Ability to work outdoors at high elevation
Maintain positive, professional, team-player attitude
Ability to care for and clean serving equipment and glassware
Provide timely and friendly guest service

Additional Information Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods
Work in wet, hot, or humid conditions and on slippery/uneven surfaces
Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
