About Us SolToro is a lively Mexican cantina located in the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. Our menu features innovative twists on Mexican classics, including a variety of tacos and an extensive tequila selection, such as Cincoro, a premium tequila created by basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Bartender Duties The essential functions of the Bartender role include:

Greeting guests, taking accurate food and drink orders, and entering them into the Point of Sale system.
Recognizing intoxicated guests, refusing to over-serve, and notifying management when necessary.
Managing and securing all bar stock and inventory.
Preparing and serving beverages according to recipes.
Stocking and restocking the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice, and supplies.
Recording orders accurately, processing payments, and balancing sales and receipts per restaurant policies.
Personalizing and tailoring guest service.
Participating in daily service meetings.
Taking ownership of the designated station and assisting other stations as needed.
Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of menu items and describing them to guests.
Assisting in training new bar staff.
Suggesting beverages to guests in an up-selling manner and responding to questions.
Monitoring guests to fulfill additional requests.
Communicating guest feedback, issues, and other relevant information to management.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of bartending experience.
Basic computer skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to reach, stoop, and bend as needed.
Adequate visual and auditory capacity to perform job duties.
