Emmy Squared WESTPORT is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our growing team! Bartender Key Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous, prompt service to our guests
- Prepare beverage orders for bar and dining areas according to signature recipes
- Adhere to Emmy's Steps of Service
- Accurately enter guest orders into the Toast POS system
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
- Communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to culinary staff
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Maintain a clean and presentable work environment
- Maintain a positive and outgoing demeanor during service
- Promote safety for self, co-workers, and guests
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Bartender Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Experience with cash handling, excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage guest needs
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers
- Passion for hospitality and the food & beverage industry
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 lbs; frequent bending, reaching, twisting; stand or walk for extended periods
