Ten Five Hospitality is launching a new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown. We are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our team and help create an elevated dining experience. Ideal candidates have a strong background in fine dining service and a passion for exceptional hospitality.

Position Summary: The Barback supports the bar team by ensuring all stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the needs of bartenders while collaborating with front- and back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities:

Set up bar stations properly and prepare/restock garnishes as directed.
Organize and maintain liquor displays and shelving, maintaining par levels.
Clean counters, furniture, glasses; clear plates; run food; take out trash; unclog sinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of back bar, liquor displays, storage areas, and service stations.
Remove trash and recycling and uphold sanitation standards.
Ensure bar is well stocked: refill ice wells, stock glasses, straws, liquor bottles, beers, and other beverages.
Organize and inventory shipments of liquor and beer.
Track opening and closing inventory levels.
Perform side-work and all opening/closing procedures.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and move continuously during shifts.
Ability to maneuver between tasks efficiently.
Lift trays or items up to 30 lbs regularly; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
Push and pull carts/equipment up to 250 lbs occasionally.
Ability to bend, squat, stoop, and stretch regularly.
Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment including cutlery for garnishes.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum six months experience in bar, restaurant, or hotel setting.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.
Team player who anticipates others’ needs.
Positive attitude.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
