Inspired by Mojave Desert flowers, Joshua Tree hideouts, and western nostalgia, it is the ultimate destination for country music lovers. The venue features classic Americana dishes, specialty cocktails, frozen margaritas, cold beers, and daily live performances by emerging country artists and the Desert 5 All Stars band. Upstairs offers bull rides, strong pours, DJ-spun country music, line dancing lessons, and a patio for enjoying the stars.

Position Summary Brunch Bartenders are professional, energetic, and communicative. They serve cocktails and unique beverages, greet guests, learn preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, prepare and serve beverages and food, upsell, create recipes, use proper equipment, and perform basic cleaning duties.

Daily Responsibilities

Serve brunch during Saturday and Sunday shifts (part-time)
Prepare all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Restock and maintain par levels of beverages
Have complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu
Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards
Use appropriate garnishes and glassware
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the bar area
Provide food service meeting company standards
Coordinate guest transfers from bar to dining room as needed
Follow all cash handling procedures
Assist with beverage inventories and ordering
Communicate daily with Manager on Duty regarding unavailable items
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move actively for extended periods
Ability to lift trays up to 30 lbs and regularly lift up to 40 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs
Ability to push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
Ability to bend, squat, stoop, stretch, and perform cleaning tasks
Manual dexterity required to operate bar equipment and cut fruit for garnishes

Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in high-end restaurant or hotel bartending
Expertise in alcohol and cocktail preparation in high-volume environments
Knowledge of Amari and Grappa is a plus
Excellent listening and communication skills
Ability to multitask and focus on guest interaction
Team player who anticipates others' needs
Understanding of sequence of service and coursing
Positive attitude
Current food handler's card and alcohol awareness certification required
