Position Overview: Our Bartenders are crucial members of the bar and restaurant team, responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role involves mixing drinks, managing the bar area, and engaging with guests to enhance their overall dining or nightlife experience. Bartenders must possess strong knowledge of drink recipes, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Monitor stock levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, tools, and work surfaces.
Process payments, handle cash transactions, and keep accurate records of tabs and sales.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and cleanliness standards.
Foster relationships with regular customers and create a lively, enjoyable environment.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Strong knowledge of drink recipes, preparation techniques, and cocktail presentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer requests and complaints professionally.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Attention to detail in drink preparation and payment processing.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items such as kegs or supply boxes.
Ability to work in a dynamic, high-energy environment, often during peak hours.
Flexibility to work variable hours, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum age of 21 years.
1-3 years of experience preferred, but training is provided.
ABC Certification (Delaware) or TIPS Certification (Maryland) required.
Ability to use online scheduling applications.
Knowledge of Responsible Alcohol Service (RAS) procedures in compliance with federal and state laws.
