**Lifestyle Bartender - Mercat**
**Position Summary** Our bartenders create memorable and unique guest experiences by mixing drinks and acting as hosts in the bar area. They stay up to date with new trends and local offerings, ensuring the bar operates flawlessly and maintains a welcoming atmosphere. Beyond serving beverages, bartenders take ownership of guest service and collaborate with hotel staff and the community to anticipate and meet guests' needs.
Bartenders must maintain a safe workplace, follow company policies, protect company assets, and present a professional appearance. The role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve drinks with attention to quality and detail
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for guests
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of the bar
- Build relationships with guests and hotel staff to enhance service
- Follow all safety and company procedures
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- No supervisory experience or certification required
