Title: Bartender

Responsible to: GM/AGM/F&B Management

Place of Work: Tropezon (512 Espanola Way)

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the USA.

Main Duties:

Prepare classic cocktails and mix ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain Tropezon service standards and ethos at all times.
Implement policies and systems as directed by management.
Attend all briefings, meetings, and necessary training sessions.
Comply with fire, health, and safety regulations, following correct procedures when incidents occur.
Handle work-related problems professionally and positively.
Properly use bar tools and keep the bar clean and organized.
Accurately pour spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages using mandated glassware.
Collect payments and operate the POS system.
Check customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase.
Recognize and manage over-served customers discreetly and responsibly.
Oversee proper setup and breakdown of bar workspaces according to bar manager standards.
Ensure correct arrangement and display of bottles and bar setups as per management guidelines.
Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
Perform physical activities such as lifting, stooping, moving, and handling objects like glasses and bottles.
Demonstrate thorough product knowledge through weekly verbal tests.
Adhere to El Salon grooming and punctuality standards and attend all scheduled staff trainings.
Perform all duties without complaints from oneself or coworkers.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
Capability for fast-paced movements around the property as needed.
Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 20 pounds.
Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.

Requirements: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the USA and possess the physical ability to lift, stand, and move for long periods. Strong knowledge of cocktail construction and the ability to manage professional situations positively are required.
