Job Description
Title: Bartender
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, focusing on tequila, mezcal, margaritas, and Mexican-inspired cocktails.
- Deliver outstanding guest service with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Engage guests with menu knowledge, cocktail recommendations, and brand storytelling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and workstations.
- Accurately ring in orders using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure compliance with Florida alcohol laws and hotel policies.
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and hotel teams to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and inventory counts.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support special events, high-volume service periods, and hotel-driven activations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and Mexican spirits (tequila and mezcal preferred).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive during high-energy service periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to handle bar tools, glassware, and beverage preparation.
- Comfortable working indoors and in oceanfront environments.
Schedule & Availability:
