JOB SUMMARY: The Bartender will prepare beverages according to resort standards, ensuring guest satisfaction through professional and courteous service. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety regulations, and following sustainability guidelines.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and personal hygiene.
Manage wine storage, including stock levels and proper temperature.
Perform cashiering tasks and ensure beverage stock security.
Keep the bar clean and organized, including preparing garnishes and essential equipment.
Monitor inventory accuracy and submit related reports (inventory sheets, breakage reports).
Attend meetings and participate in ongoing training, including sustainability practices.
Respond professionally to guest orders, complaints, and special requests.
Maximize downtime by maintaining standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Follow all resort policies, procedures, fire, safety, and security guidelines.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in general cleaning projects.
Maintain the highest level of customer service.
Attend all food and beverage-related staff meetings and trainings.
Adhere strictly to health, sanitation, and sustainability policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous bartending experience in food and beverage establishments.
Ability to multitask and anticipate customer needs.
Knowledge of food and beverage service policies and POS systems.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
Self-motivated, reliable, diligent, and detail-oriented.
Flexible availability.
High School diploma or vocational certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.

WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Exposure to dust, odors, temperature variations, noise, and lights.
Frequent walking, standing, sitting, occasional climbing, use of hands and arms.
Ability to handle noxious chemicals safely.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
