JOB SUMMARY: The Lounge Bartender will prepare beverages according to the resort’s standards and ensure guest satisfaction with professional and courteous service. The bartender must maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhere to health, safety, and sustainability policies, and comply with local regulations.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
Maintain high standards of sanitation, hygiene, and personal appearance.
Monitor and manage wine storage conditions and stock levels.
Perform cashiering duties accurately.
Secure beverage inventory through proper control and observation.
Clean and organize the bar, prepare garnishes and equipment.
Ensure prompt, professional service and attend to all guest orders.
Proactively maintain the bar area during slow periods.
Address customer complaints timely and report as necessary.
Submit required reports such as inventory and breakage logs.
Participate in meetings, training, and sustainability initiatives.
Comply with hotel personnel policies and safety procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a bartender in a food and beverage setting.
Ability to anticipate customer needs and multitask effectively.
Working knowledge of Food & Beverage service policies.
Strong communication skills with guests and staff.
Self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Flexible availability.
High school diploma or vocational certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.

WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and occasional climbing/balancing.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
Exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines is required.
