Title: Barback

Join the team at Oakes Farms Seed to Table, where food, hospitality, entertainment, and memorable customer experiences come together. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Barback who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Stock liquor, beer, wine, and other beverages to ensure sufficient supply during peak hours.
Monitor and replenish bar supplies such as napkins, straws, glassware, and ice.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area by wiping down counters, collecting empty glasses and bottles, and disposing of trash.
Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages promptly and accurately.
Ensure bar equipment like blenders, taps, and refrigeration units are clean and operational.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff to provide excellent service and support operations.
Assist with special events, promotions, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience as a barback or similar role is beneficial but not required.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Regularly lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
Work in varying environmental conditions (hot, humid, cold).
Ability to work around food products, cleaning agents, and moderate dust without allergic reactions.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, and move throughout the work area.
Safely use step stools or ladders as needed.
Maintain balance and stability while carrying beverages and performing tasks.
Demonstrate manual dexterity for preparing drinks, operating equipment, and handling cash.
Adequate vision and hearing to perform duties safely.
Must wear employer-approved, slip-resistant footwear.
