Job Description

The Vineta Hotel, located in the heart of Palm Beach and part of the prestigious Oetker Hotels portfolio, invites applicants to join its team as a Bartender.

Originally established in 1926 and recently renovated, The Vineta Hotel combines Mediterranean Revival architecture with contemporary luxury to create a premier hospitality experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Provide excellent customer service, engage warmly with guests, and maintain a friendly bar atmosphere.
Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and promote specials and premium offerings.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Assist in training new bartenders and uphold luxury service standards.
Adhere to all legal and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service and hygiene standards.
Manage bar cleanliness, inventory tracking, and waste disposal.
Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally.
Stay informed on bar trends, drink recipes, and pairing recommendations.
Participate in opening and closing duties, including bar organization and stock management.
Attend meetings and training sessions to remain updated on policies and menu changes.
Maintain a professional personal appearance and promote a positive team environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in luxury hospitality.
Ability to work full-time with flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Passion for food and beverage service excellence with knowledge of international fine dining standards.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, responsible, and customer-focused.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
