Job Description
Title: Bartender
Position Objective: Prepare and serve beverages efficiently to servers and guests in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare drinks for customers and servers, ensuring proper materials and supplies are available.
- Engage with guests while ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not served to minors or intoxicated persons.
- Act as cashier for servers when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by disposing of waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping down surfaces.
- Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits.
- Assist servers, other bartenders, and team members as needed.
- Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computational and computer skills.
- Knowledge and ability to operate all relevant equipment (e.g., coffee maker, cash terminal, blender).
- Strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies regarding alcohol service.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work indoors in moderate temperatures and occasionally in extreme temperatures (freezers or kitchens).
- Ability to stand and move for up to 6 hours continuously.
- Capacity to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and regularly lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull carts or equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and perform repetitive motions.
- Manual dexterity required for equipment operation.

- Flexibility to frequently change activities and cope with interruptions.
