Bartender - No Late Nights!

We are seeking an experienced bartender to provide excellent beverage and food service to residents and their guests in our fine dining bar and restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and garnish drinks, slicing fruit as needed
Know lounge menus thoroughly and discuss options with guests
Maintain a well-stocked bar with adequate liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and accessories
Understand the wine and beer menu to assist guests with preferences and recommendations
Take and serve beverage orders promptly and accurately
Serve lounge food items and interact with guests
Verify legal drinking age by checking identification
Clean and organize the bar, tables, chairs, and work areas to maintain a clean environment
Attend pre-service huddles and maintain uniform cleanliness and presentation
Address guest issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary
Notify Food & Beverage Manager of needed supplies and equipment repairs
Check refrigeration temperatures to ensure proper beverage storage
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Restock and replenish lounge inventory and supplies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
3-5 years of bartending experience
Excellent knowledge of wine opening, pouring, mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Must be 21 years or older
Must maintain applicable state health and alcohol compliance certifications

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Ability to balance, kneel, reach, crouch, pull, stand, push, stoop, grasp, and lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Strong observational and conflict resolution skills

Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
Relevant training certification
