Title: Bartender

We are looking for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic individuals who take their work seriously but maintain a positive attitude. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by following recipes and delivering high-quality drinks and food in a clean, friendly environment. This role requires providing exceptional, consistent service in accordance with the service standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
Strong knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use technology such as tablets, iPads, computers, and POS systems
Team player with ability to work quickly in a clean, organized, and effective manner
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Physical ability to lift, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities:

Serve guests efficiently, following steps of service including preparing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and making beverage recommendations
Run food to bar and bar area guests
Prep and stock the bar for service periods to ensure smooth operations
Clean glasses, tools, utensils, and bar equipment
Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, ingredients, and preparations
Curate guests’ bar experience by tailoring recommendations to their preferences
Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor selections
Collect and process payments, following proper cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and coolers
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
Clear communication skills
Ability to work long hours as needed

Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain confidentiality
