Job Description
Title: Barback
Job Summary: We are seeking a Barback to join our team! In this role, you will help open and close the bar and perform essential tasks to keep the bar running smoothly, such as restocking supplies and prepping garnishes. Your goal is to ensure patrons have an excellent experience and want to return.
Responsibilities:
- Support bartenders in preparing and delivering drinks and menu items
- Keep tables, counters, bars, and other surfaces clean and wiped down
- Restock supplies as needed
- Bus tables
- Prepare cocktail garnishes and other ingredients necessary for making drinks
- Replace beer kegs and empty liquor bottles
- Take out the trash
- Assist bartenders as requested and learn to prepare drink recipes
- Receive tips from bartenders after every shift
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Team player who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Available to work nights and weekends
