Job Description

We are passionate about bringing cool, authentic restaurants to airports that represent a taste of place.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, serve, sell, and maintain food and beverage items.
Take orders, receive vendor deliveries, and clean food preparation areas.
Provide courteous and friendly service to guests.
Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station daily, including stocking food, paper products, and condiments.
Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
Complete all tasks listed on the shift prep sheet.
Set-up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
Report product shortages immediately to the manager.
Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to adhere to health standards.
Clean and organize all work and storage areas, including coolers and refrigerators.
Dispose of trash properly and re-line containers.
Meet with the manager at shift start and end to discuss and confirm duties.

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum one year experience in a food service environment.
High school diploma preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English to communicate with guests and take orders.
Experience handling customer service issues.
Basic math skills to operate cash registers, make change, and handle cash drops.
Food handler's permit as required by law.
Brand certification as required.
Ability to memorize and promote menu items.
Competency with keyboard and point-of-sale systems to pre-check and close orders.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
