POSITION PROFILE The Bartender is responsible for the setup, mixing, and service of drinks, as well as cleaning the bar area. This role ensures quality service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards while maximizing profits.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines and safety controls.
Provide guest service in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner to maintain guest satisfaction.
Verify customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age.
Process guest checks accurately, handling cash, credit, and room charges as per company policies.
Complete liquor requisitions and maintain supply lists.
Comply with state liquor laws and obtain Tips certification.
Maintain established inventory pars.
Perform side work duties according to schedule.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

High school education or equivalent experience.
Three to six months of experience in a food and beverage service environment.
Ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer printouts, and observe the restaurant in dim lighting.
Proficient in mixing cocktails and providing wine service.
Manual dexterity for operating POS systems and carrying trays loaded with food and beverages.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift, push, and carry 20 to 40 lbs.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Communicate information effectively with management, staff, and guests.
