Title: Bartender

Summary of Position: The Bartender plays a key role in enhancing guests' dining and bar experiences by consistently following recipes and providing friendly, professional service. The ideal candidate is organized, quick-thinking, and maintains composure under pressure.

Essential Functions:

Ensure total guest satisfaction by assisting guests sincerely and courteously, going the extra mile.
Display hospitality and professionalism while representing the company positively.
Handle all transactions with guests, associates, and vendors legally and ethically.
Comply with company, department, and brand standards.
Complete required training.
Maintain a clean, neat appearance and wear a complete uniform or business attire with name tag at all times in public areas.
Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds.
Communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests to make them feel appreciated.
Collaborate with team members to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service.
Keep all areas clean and stocked according to standards.
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks following standard recipes.
Ring drink orders into the POS system immediately and collect payment.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain attractive displays.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively.
Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety; arrange taxi service as needed and seek management intervention when necessary.
Learn guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must maintain a valid state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous bartending experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or lift items and operate a computer.
Frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
