Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will maintain beverage control by accurately pouring and serving drinks, while keeping the bar area clean and organized. Your role is to provide exceptional service that meets or exceeds club standards and enhances the member and guest experience by consistently following the 3-steps of service.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as per the Food & Beverage service training program.
Assist with serving food and beverages to members and guests at the bar.
Greet members by name and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Execute member and guest orders accurately and timely.
Professionally address and resolve complaints, notifying management as needed.
Prepare the bar area before each shift, ensuring it is fully stocked with bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area with regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work, including restocking supplies.
Maintain knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
Manage liquor items responsibly to maintain beverage control.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness is preferred.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage service.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Strong commitment to ethical work standards.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
Basic bar and wine knowledge, including cocktails and wine varietals.
Ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Capacity to work in varying environments and temperatures.
Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Effective communication skills including talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Work Schedule:

Must adhere to attendance requirements on the weekly schedule.
Additional hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
