Location: The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is located in the heart of Waikiki on the south shore of Honolulu. The hotel features 311 spacious guest rooms and offers a warm, welcoming environment that captures the 'Spirit of Aloha.'

Overview: The Bartender is responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of the bar area, mixing and serving drinks according to hotel standards. This role requires maintaining cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction, controlling liquor inventory, and complying with all state liquor laws.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Attend to guests, managers, and fellow employees with attentiveness, friendliness, and courtesy.
Set up the bar according to hotel standards and serve guests promptly and efficiently.
Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel’s mixing and presentation guidelines.
Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment properly.
Follow all state liquor laws strictly.
Be knowledgeable about hotel services and facilities.
Adhere to all hotel policies and safety rules.
Serve liquor responsibly to avoid issues with intoxicated guests.
Respond professionally to guests' problems, complaints, and accidents.
Know fire exit and extinguisher locations and how to operate them.
Ensure the bar and service areas remain clean and tidy during service.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shifts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle complex information.
Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented approach.
Flexibility to work long and varied hours as needed.
Commitment to hotel standards, personal appearance, and uniform requirements.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and show initiative.
Willingness to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
Effective problem-solving skills.
