Title: BARTENDER (FULL TIME)

Location: Boise State - 1910 W University Drive, Boise, ID 83725

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Bartender position. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time shifts will vary; more details will be provided during the interview.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year bartending experience.
Ability to detect guest inebriation and comply strictly with state and federal liquor laws.

Job Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to all applicable liquor regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations concerning service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock, prepare, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes; practice prudent portion control.
Verify proper identification of guests at the bar.
Detect and respond appropriately to guest inebriation.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
Securely lock up and store beverages, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops.
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards; keep the work area clean and organized.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information: Because this position serves an educational facility, there may be unpaid breaks during winter and summer. There is possibility of working year-round, potentially at a different location during breaks based on business needs.
