Job Description: As a bartender at Ling & Louie's, you will be the face of our bar, providing top-notch service to our guests. Your role will include crafting delicious cocktails, recommending drink pairings, and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, keeping the bar area clean and organized, and handling transactions accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Engage with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Ensure beverages are prepared according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, equipment, and supplies
- Verify legal age requirements for alcohol service by checking identification
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Assist with restocking and inventory management
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Uphold company policies, including responsible alcohol service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
