Job Description
Title: Bartender
Location: Coeur D'Alene, ID 83814 Position Type: Seasonal
The Black Rock Marina / Shooters is accepting applications for the 2026 season. We are seeking qualified bartenders who want to work in a relaxed, waterfront environment. Our team is fast-paced and high-energy, and we need motivated, self-driven individuals who work well in a team and pay strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and serving non-alcoholic beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests (often boaters arriving from docks), taking orders, and creating a friendly atmosphere.
- Handle payments by operating POS systems, processing cash and card transactions, and managing tabs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by washing glassware and following sanitation standards.
- Restock liquor, garnishes, ice, and supplies; assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Check IDs to ensure compliance with alcohol laws and verify legal drinking age.
Marina-Specific Duties:
- Knowledge of marina culture and boating lifestyle is a plus.
- Assist during dock parties, live music nights, and seasonal events.
Requirements:
- Prior bartending experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift supplies.
