Title: Bartender

Overview: Serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Growth Path: Opportunity for advancement to Beverage Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities:

Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
Verify customers' identification to ensure legal alcohol purchase.
Prepare and serve drinks and food orders.
Take orders, serve, and clear food and beverages for guests at tables in bar and lounge areas, if applicable.
Issue guest checks and handle the payment process.
Identify and manage intoxicated guests according to standards.
Complete beverage requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
Perform required side work before the end of shifts.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and contribute to improvements.
Assist with beverage inventory management.
Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, use protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma preferred.
Previous bartending or mixology experience required or equivalent training.
TIPS certification is a plus.
Food Sanitation certificate is a plus and mandatory within 90 days of employment.

Work Context:

Variable work schedule including holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
