The Grand Gardner Hotel, an Urschel Development property located in Downtown Valparaiso, IN, is an independent boutique hotel featuring 58 rooms and suites, a speakeasy, banquet space, and inviting shared areas. Pay starts at $13.00/hour plus tips.

Responsibilities: The Barback supports bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest service. Duties include stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice, keeping bar stations prepared throughout each shift, organizing inventory, assisting with beverage deliveries, changing kegs, removing trash and recyclables, and maintaining cleanliness in bar and storage areas.
Requirements: The ideal candidate is team-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to anticipate operational needs and work efficiently alongside bartenders and other Food & Beverage team members is required. Physical demands include frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, moving full kegs and beverage cases, pushing loaded carts, and standing and walking for extended periods. Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
