Title: BARTENDER (PART TIME)

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a part-time Bartender position at The Lodge at Homewood Living in Frederick, MD.

Location: 500 Pearson Circle, Frederick, MD 21702 Schedule: Part-time, Wednesday through Friday 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm; Saturday 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Further details upon interview.

Requirements:

Prior bartending experience preferred, but willing to train.
Must be able to verify guest identification and manage intoxicated guests in compliance with liquor laws.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock, prepare and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure quality.
Greet guests courteously; take and process drink orders.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control.
Check guest identification at the bar.
Detect and act upon guest intoxication according to training.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, and record sales.
Secure all beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops.
Perform general cleaning to maintain health and safety standards; keep work area organized.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
