Title: Bartender

Position Summary: Be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring guests' enjoyment by being organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while maintaining self-composure. Be attentive to guests' needs and timing, take pride in your appearance, and demonstrate integrity and honesty in all aspects of your work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language
Make guests feel appreciated through your actions
Work collaboratively with all staff to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service
Keep all areas clean and stocked according to the establishment’s standards
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes
Enter drink orders promptly into the computer, collect payments, and make change
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
Wash and sterilize glassware
Track drinks served and manage open bar tabs
Anticipate guests' needs and remain alert to guest signals
Learn guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks
Responsibly serve alcohol and monitor guests' intoxication levels
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Possess a valid state health and/or alcohol compliance card
Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or higher
Basic math skills with the ability to handle money and give correct change
Basic reading and computer skills
Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Knowledge of company food and beverage specifications and workplace safety procedures

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Employees must be able to walk, stand, and remain stationary for the duration of their shift. Tasks require reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping, wiping, and frequent hand washing. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds is necessary.
