Title: Bar Manager (Seasonal)

Location: Bloomington, MN 55425 Salary: $20.00 per hour

Join Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the nation’s leader in immersive, story-driven live events and haunted attractions. As a seasonal Bar Manager, you will help create unforgettable guest experiences while leading the bar team in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise bartenders and bar staff to ensure smooth and consistent service.
Provide coaching and support to maintain service standards and team morale.
Oversee bar operations including setup, restocking, and breakdown before and after events.
Ensure beverages are prepared and served accurately, efficiently, and with personality.
Operate and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system, including balancing the cash drawer at shift end.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, following sanitation and safety guidelines.
Verify legal drinking age and monitor for signs of intoxication to uphold responsible alcohol service policies.
Collaborate with event leadership and staff to ensure smooth service and promptly resolve issues.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old at time of hire.
Legally authorized to work in the United States (verification via E-Verify).
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the event season.
Prior experience in bar operations, lead bartender, shift lead, or supervisory hospitality roles preferred.
Experience with POS systems.
Strong customer service, communication, leadership, and basic math skills.
TIPS, ServSafe, or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a high-volume environment.
Team-oriented with flexibility, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.

Employment Details:

Seasonal/Temporary position from late September to early November 2026.
Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Employment beyond the season is not guaranteed.
